Ivoclar Optrasculpt - Posterior

Description :

Ivoclar OptraSculpt posterior instruments are dental tools with specialized attachments designed for the non-stick shaping and contouring of uncured composite materials in Class I, II, and V restorations. The instrument kit includes disposable tips specifically shaped to help create anatomical features in posterior teeth.

Features :

Anti-stick property: The instrument attachments, such as the ball, chisel, and pointed tip, have a non-stick surface that prevents composite material from adhering to them. This provides clean and efficient contouring.

Anatomical tips: The attachments are designed to mimic the anatomy of natural teeth.

Ball tip: Shaped for creating occlusal fissures and ridges in molars and premolars.

Chisel tip: Ideal for shaping composite in proximal and marginal ridge areas.

Pointed tip: Useful for developing fine anatomical details and grooves on the occlusal surfaces.

Optimized working angle: The instrument and its attachments are angled to provide optimal access and control for shaping restorations in the hard-to-reach posterior region.

Specification :

The OptraSculpt instrument is suitable for the following posterior restorative procedures:

Class I restorations: Shaping and contouring composite material on the occlusal surfaces of premolars and molars.

Class II restorations: Adapting composite in proximal box forms and creating correct proximal marginal ridges. Correctly formed marginal ridges are crucial for interdental space hygiene.

Class V restorations: Contouring composite materials in cervical areas at the gumline.

Ivoclar Optrasculpt Pad - Anterior

Description :

Ivoclar OptraSculpt Pad is a dental instrument system designed for the efficient, non-stick shaping and contouring of composite and compomer restorations. The system features a reusable, autoclavable instrument handle with disposable foam pad attachments that prevent the composite resin from sticking.

Key Features :

The OptraSculpt Pad system includes the following components:

Instrument handle: An ergonomic, autoclavable handle made of stainless steel and PEEK. It includes reference scales that assist in creating anatomically correct restorations, especially in the anterior (front) teeth.

Foam pad attachments: Soft, flexible, and disposable pads made of polyethylene (PE) and ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA). They come in two sizes, typically 4mm and 6mm, to adapt to various surface dimensions.

Non-stick surface: The pads have a special, anti-adhesive surface that allows for smooth contouring without leaving marks or pulling the composite material..

Specification:

The OptraSculpt Pad is particularly effective for large-surface restorations in the following dental applications:

Class III, IV, and V restorations: These apply to restorations on the front teeth, where precise and aesthetic shaping is critical.

Direct laminate veneers: The non-stick properties and ability to create smooth, even surfaces are ideal for forming direct veneers.

Contouring extensive defects: The different pad sizes facilitate the shaping of larger areas of composite material.
